North Country Rivers' base complex
is located in the upper Kennebec Valley Region of Maine.
Known for having "the best snowmobiling in the
east", this area receives an annual snowfall of
approximately 10 feet. The region also contains
some of the most beautiful and pristine wilderness in
the US.

Best of all, our base complex is located "on" Maine's Interconnecting Trail System (the ITS). This system is made up of approximately 12,000 miles of groomed trails - stretching to all the way to Canada.
From the North Country Rivers base complex in Bingham, Maine, we are on the ITS 87 portion of this trail system. This portion extends north to the Forks and Jackman (and on to Canada), west to Rangeley Lakes, and northeast to Moosehead Lake (and Katahdin). This particular trail, and many feeder trails, provide hundreds and hundreds of miles of open terrain, incredible scenery, and awesome riding for all skill levels.
Numerous options for single and multi-day loop trips exist (beginning and ending at our base complex). And should you rent one of our cozy log cabins on the Kennebec River (see below), you will be able to return from any trip, and park your sled right at your front door! North Country Rivers is simply THE best option for a winter adventure vacation!

GUIDED AND UNGUIDED SNOWMOBILE AND EQUIPMENT RENTALS
Advanced reservations are required for snowmobile rentals, cabins and guided tours. Make your reservation early to insure availability of snowmobiles, cabins and guides! Minimum age to rent a snowmobile is 21 years, minimum age to operate a snowmobile is 18 years, minimum age to ride on a snowmobile with an adult is 10 years old.

- Pricing is US dollars, includes all taxes and fees.
- Snowmobiles come with electric start and reverse.
- Helmets, trail maps, and a full tank of gas are included with the snowmobile rental.
- Sleds must be returned with a full tank of gas.
- Top of the line apparel can be rented for $25 per person per day (bibs, jacket, boots, and gloves), all sizes avialable.
- A $25 per hour fee will be charged for late returns
- $1,000 deposit per sled is required for rentals. We will hold the deposit on any major credit card. Also, everyone renting a snowmobile must understand and sign a release form as well as a snowmobile rental contract. All renters are responsible for any damage done to a sled.

USE OF PERSONAL SNOWMOBILES
North Country Rivers welcomes those who wish to use their own sleds. However, ALL personally-owned snowmobiles MUST be registered with the Maine Department of Fisheries and Wildlife (this applies to Maine residents as well as non-residents). In addition, please note that all personal snowmobiles must be operated in accordance with the rules and laws established by the state of Maine and the Maine Dept of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife.

NORTH COUNTRY RIVERS: KENNEBEC & BIGELOW CABIN INFORMATION |
| KENNEBEC CABINS |
The Kennebec cabins are built on two floors - 28x32 first floor and 14x40 on the second floor. The first floor has two bedrooms (two double beds in one bedroom, one double bed and one set of bunk beds in the second bedroom), living room, kitchen, dining area, bathroom and shower. The second floor has six twin beds two double beds and three roll out cots. There is a front porch with a roof, outside fireplace and grill. The cabins can sleep up to 24 guests per cabin. Six guest minimum on weekdays and a twelve person two night
minimum on weekends (Fridays, Saturdays and long weekends). |
* $48 per person per night and includes all taxes.
* Minimum group size with snowmobile rentals - 4 on weekdays (with a 1-night stay), and 6 on weekends (with a 2-night stay).
*Minimum group size without snowmobile rentals - 6 on weekdays (with a 1-night stay), and 8 on weekends (with a 2-night stay).

| BIGELOW CABINS |
The Bigelow cabins are built on one floor - 28x22. They have two bedrooms (each with one bunk bed - double bed on the bottom and a single bed on top, and one roll-away bed), living room, kitchen, dining area, bathroom and shower. There is a frontporch with a roof, outside fireplace and grill. The cabins can sleep 2 - 8 guests per cabin. The Bigelow cabins are perfect for couples, families and smaller groups. Two guest minimum on weekdays (Sunday - Thursday) and a four person two night minimum on weekends (Fridays, Saturdays and long weekends). |
