Big Moose Cabin Discriptions -

Antique Cabin– Sleeps 4/5
Smallest cabin with inside full bathroom. Located beside the lodge; busy area during restaurant hours untill 9 pm. It has one bedroom with a double and a single, small kitchen, bathroom and living area with an additional 2 single beds. Cabin has propane monitored heat and air conditioning.

#1 Fischer House – Sleeps 10/12
Three bedrooms: Room with 1 single bed and a double, Room with a bunk bed and a twin bed, and 3rd room with a bunk bed and a double, full kitchen, bathroom, woodstove and living room area with an additional 2 single beds. Cabin has propane monitored heat.

#2 Black Bear Cabin – Sleeps 10
Has a loft with 4 single beds, a room with a single bed and sleeping for 5 more singles in the living room area. Full kitchen, bathroom, woodstove and propane monitored heat.

#3 The Owl – Sleeps 6/8
Log cabin with 2 bedrooms with a bunk bed in each room (single on top, Double on bottom), kitchen, bathroom and woodstove, propane heat and living area with an additional bunk bed (2).
MILLINOCKET LAKE WATER FRONT CABINS
The bathroom facilities are detached and located behind the cabin, each cabin has its own private facility.

#4 The Loon – Sleeps 6/7
One bedroom with a queen size bed and a bunk bed, small kitchen and living area with additional sleeping for 3 (bunks and twin) with propane monitored heat

#5 Little Rocky – Sleeps 4
Small one room cabin with small kitchen and sleeping for 4/5; bunk bed, single bed and a Double bed Futon

#6 Doubletop – Sleeps 6/7
One bedroom cabin with a bunk bed, small kitchen and living area with additional sleeping (bunk bed, single bed, double futon)

#7 Togue – Sleeps 6/7 
One bedroom cabin with a bunk bed, small kitchen and living area with additional sleeping (bunk bed, single bed, double futon)

#8 Knife Edge – Sleeps 7/8
The “bunkhouse”. We render this out for $10 less per person because it has no running water. Two bedrooms, with a full refrigerator, stove and woodstove, and use of campground facility in lower campground. (Great views and we provide drinking water)

#9 Pamola House – Sleeps 15
Sits on Millinocket Lake and has a full kitchen, stove, microwave, refrigerator and bathroom. Two bedrooms, 2 bunk beds in each room. An additional 2 bunk beds and 3 single beds are available in the main room.

#10 Baxter House – Sleeps 14/16
Large cabin overlooking Millinocket Lake with full kitchen, stove, microwave, refrigerator, stone fireplace and bathroom. Three bedrooms: 1 with a double and 2 singles, 1 with 2 singles and 2 bunk beds, and 1 with a double and a bunk bed . Sleeping also in the front room.

Katahdin House - Sleeps 15/20
Modern Post and Beam lodge with cathedral ceilings, oak flooring throughout with four bedrooms and an attached suite. Two upstairs bedrooms: One has 3 single beds and the other 1 double bed and 1single bed. Two downstairs bedrooms: One has a bunk bed and a queen, the other bedroom has 2 double beds. The attached suite has 1 double bed and 4 twins. There is a couch in the living room with a pull-out double bed. This lodge is secluded with large yard and deck. It has a full cooking kitchen and 1 _ baths. Suite is not inclusive of primary pricing.

Inn Room Descriptions -

Big Moose Inn offers 8 comfortable antique filled guest rooms that share 3 baths. These rooms are the original rooms that were built for the river drivers who first occupied the Inn.
 
Each room has its own unique personality with twin, full, and queen size beds.  Our Inn rooms were recently remodeled while maintaining the original antique elegance that Fredericka Boynton created over 35 years ago.

Big Moose Inn's comfortable rooms and relaxed atmosphere await your next visit to the Millinocket and Katahdin Region. Spend a day hiking in Baxter State Park then relax in one of our many reading areas or spend time reminicing around the stone fireplace.

Recently the Big Moose Inn added 4 new suites to the Inn that are larger than our other Inn rooms. The new suites have their own private bath and queen size beds. Each suite is tastefully furnished with your comfort in mind. Two additional  rooms were remodeled to include private baths while keeping the antique personality. All rooms in the Inn include a glorified continental breakfast.

Campground Discription -

At Big Moose, we like to think of camping as Maine's most natural lodging experience. Children from one to one hundred enjoy sleeping in the fresh Maine air, where clear nights open the sky to the stars. We offer 6 lean-to's, 35 tent sites and bathroom facilities. Large groups can be accommodated. Remote sites available. The campsites have fire rings, picnic tables & access to shower houses and bathrooms.
