Nestled in the Western Mountains of Maine lies the Upper Kennebec Valley and the little town of Bingham, home of Gateway Recreation and Lodging.  The low key lifestyle of the town was preserved in 1998 when Gateway Recreation and Lodging was established as a four season resort for the outdoors person in all of us.  Come visit and see what the outdoors in Maine is all about.

Accommodations at Gateway Recreation and Lodging consist of 7 new housekeeping cabins with private baths and full bedding for 6 to 8 people. All cabins have refrigerators, CD player/radios, and coffee makers as added amenities.

Three of our cabins are equipped with complete kitchens for parties that want to be self sufficient.  You can also cook your meal over an open fire on one of our outdoor fire pits which also can be used as gathering point for an evening of socializing after a great day in the outdoors.  If you don't care to prepare meals yourself you can get hearty home cooked meals in town at any one of the areas fine restaurants.

• Activities in the Area - Kayaking, Canoeing, Hiking, Fishing, Swimming, and Moose Watching!

PLEASE NOTE: The lodging/rafting package information that follows is based on lodging nights directly related to the rafting trip dates selected. However, we also setup other lodging arrangements. For example, if you intend to stay in the region for any amount of time before or after your rafting trip, we will gladly recommend and book your accommodations - even if you wish to stay in multiple locations.
