What to expect on Your Kennebec River White Water Rafting Trip with North Country Rivers:
Big waves - Big Whitewater - Big Fun!!! But NO experience is necessary!
Single day trips are available (great for families, Boy and
Girl Scout troops, other youth groups, college groups, corporate groups and bachelor parties).
Dam controlled white water releases guaranteed every
day (April through October).
Rapids range from class 2-4+ (on a 1-6 scale).

10, and September 24. Maximum whitewater

Meeting location - North Country Rivers on National Scenic Byway , Route 201, 36 Main St - Bingham, Maine 04920 at 9:00 A.M. (see Maine
Map and Directions pages). We recommend checking in 30 minutes prior to the meeting time. Trips do not wait for late arrivals. No refunds, credits or transfers for late arrivals.
Minimum age - standard trips is 10 years. Minimum age
for Turbine Test releases is 14. Children 5 - 9 years may join
the trip at the half-way point (where the river is calmer; lunch is included with the half-river trip).
North Country Rivers also offers Sport Rafts. Theses boats are smaller than our regular rafts, and provide a more "dynamic ride". We offer both four and six person sport boats.

dates and prices for 2012: June 16, July 9, Sept 8, 22 - $99 per person (minimum age is 14), all prices includes taxes.
Minimum Age:8 years (Full River), 13 Years (Turbine Test), 5 years (Half River Trip).
Youth 8-17 years - $64 per person - excludes Summer Saturdays. Add $20 per youth for the Kennebec Turbine Test and Kennebec Ultimate trips.
Youth groups - Scouts, Camps, Church, High School and College Outings - $54 per person - excludes Summer Saturdays. Add $20 per person for the Kennebec Turbine Test and Kennebec Ultimate trips.

MAINE CABIN RENTALS: BIGELOW CABINS
The Bigelow Cabins are built on one floor - 28x22. They have two bedrooms (each with one bunk bed - double bed on the bottom and a single bed on top, and one roll-away bed), living room, kitchen, dining area, bathroom and shower. There is a front porch with a roof, outside fireplace and grill. These cabins can sleep 2 - 10 guests per cabin. The Bigelow cabins are perfect for couples, families and smaller groups. Two guest minimum on weekdays (Sunday - Thursday) and a four person two night minimum on weekends (Fridays, Saturdays and long weekends). Minimum occupancy requirements are lower when purchasing meals packages or renting power sports equipment (ATV's or Snowmobiles).

The second floor has six twin beds two double beds and three roll out cots. There is a front porch with a roof, outside fireplace and grill. The Kennebec cabins can sleep up to 24 guests per cabin. Six guest minimum on weekdays and a twelve person two night minimum on weekends (Fridays, Saturdays and long weekends). Minimum occupancy requirements are lower when purchasing meals packages or renting power sports equipment (ATV's or Snowmobiles).

The Flagstaff Cabins the largest of our cabins! The Flagstaff cabins are built on two floors - 30x34 first floor and 30x42 on the second floor The first floor has two bedrooms with three queen beds in each, living room, dining area, full kitchen, bathroom and shower. The second floor has three bedrooms – one bedroom has two queen beds, the second bedroom has three queen beds and the third bedroom has five queen beds with a common living area. There is a living and dining area, efficiency kitchen (sink, full size refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker, utensils and place settings) and bathroom with a shower. The cabin has a front porch with a roof, outside fireplace and grill. The first and second floors are separate and can have their own entrances and exits. Twelve guests minimum for weekdays, sixteen guests minimum for weekend (Friday, Saturday and long weekends). Minimum occupancy requirements are lower when purchasing meals packages or renting power sports equipment (ATV's or Snowmobiles).
